Ep.68_W.O.O.P your way to better GOALS in 2023

In today's podcast, I decided to share one of my favorite goal-setting strategies - it's my favorite because it's simple, quick and most importantly it's effective.  

The system is called W.O.O.P - Wish, Outcomes, Obstacles, Plan.  It was created by Gabriele Oettingen and it's backed by science.  If you have struggled to set goals and achieve them, then I believe you now have a new tool for life's toolbox.  

The challenges we believe will prevent us from realizing our goals may instead be their enablers. WOOP allows us to think about the future while also imagining the internal barriers that stand in the way of our dreams. According to studies, WOOP has supported individuals in finding solutions to issues such as lowering stress levels, increasing work engagement, and improving time management. It has helped adults have healthier relationships and lose weight while also consuming less alcohol. The use of WOOP by kids and teens increased their academic effort, attendance, and achievement.
